MANILA, Philippines – The May 2024 Chemical Engineer (ChemEng) board exam official results, including the full list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are released online today, May 27, 2024 or in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.
As announced, 640 out of 928 (68.97%) passed the exams.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Chemical Engineer licensure exam (ChELE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena on May 21,22 and 23. In an advisory, the agency removed testing locations in Rosales, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao for this particular exam.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting July 5, 2024
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
ChemEng board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The three-day examination covered the following major subjects: physical and chemical principles, chemical engineering principles and general engineering, ethics and contracts.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 s. 2023, the target release of results for the recent ChemEng board exam is on Monday, May 27, 2024 or in just two (2) working days.
Note that results may be released on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2023 Chemical Engineer board exams, PRC announced results after four (4) working days. The agency named 651 out of 927 who successfully passed the exams. Robby Andre Tan Ching from De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila topped the board with 90.00%.
In the May 2023 Chemical Engineer board exam, PRC released results in two (2) working days. A total of 472 out of 801 passed the exams. Christian Jay Pagunuran Balboa from DLSU-Manila aced the board with 92.60%.
In the October 2022 ChemEng board exam, PRC released results in three (3) working days. A total of 531 out of 1,036 passed the exams. Jerome Ignatius Tan Garces from DLSU-Manila topped the board with 89.30%.
In the May 2022 ChemEng board exams, PRC also announced results in 3 working days. A total of 585 out of 1,032 passed the exams. Richmond Caya Pepito from University of San Carlos topped the board with 86.90%.
In the October 2021 ChemEng board exams, PRC released results after 4 working days. A total of 321 out of 679 successfully hurdled the exams. Al Christian Regorgo Gobres from University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman led the passers with 84.00%.
