BARMM Passers SubProfessional: March 2024 Civil Service Exam CSE-PPT results

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) names Thursday, May 9, the successful examinees of March 2024 Civil Service Exam - Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) sub-professional level for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The CSC through Examination Advisory No. 06, s. 2024 confirmed that results, list of passers for the March 2024 CSE-PPT for Professional and SubProfessional levels shall be posted on the CSC website ahead of the previously announced date of May 12.

Below is the complete list of successful examinees for BARMM (Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi) civil service exam (CSE-PPT) sub-professional level.

Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) for passers

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead by June 12, 2024. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

Note: Since June 12, 2024 is a regular holiday for Philippine Independence, the availability of the CoE may be adjusted/moved to the next regular working day.

PASSERS ARE ADVISED TO VERIFY/CHECK FIRST THE AVAILABILITY OF THE CERTIFICATION BEFORE GOING TO THE CSC REGIONAL/FIELD OFFICES.

Passers are further advised to personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Offices.

In claiming the Certification, passers must present the following items:

a. ID card (original)-preferably the same ID card presented during the filing of application. In case of loss or unavailability, the examinee must present any of the other accepted ID cards for civil service exam, which is valid (not expired).

b. Application receipt and/or CSC Official Receipt (only if available).

Note: The CSC Regional/Field Office may require additional document/s as may be necessary to establish the identity of the passers.

Claiming of Letterhead CoE at Conduit CSC RO/FO

In case of passers who have moved to or are based in another region, or in remote areas within the region, they may personally claim their letterhead CoE at the CSC Regional or Field Office (serving as conduit CSC RO/FO) nearest their present place of residence or work.

a. For those who have moved to or are based in another region, a written request, citing the reason/s thereof, must be sent to the authorized CSC RO (with jurisdiction over the testing center/venue where they took the examination) to forward their CoE to the conduit CSC Regional/Field Office where they would like to claim the same.

b. For those in remote areas within the region, a written request must be sent to the CSC RO to forward their CoE to the CSC Field Office where they would like to claim the same.

Security Paper CoE

Apart from the letterhead CoE, passers may opt to apply for CoE printed on security paper with fee. (Note: Applying for security paper CoE has a separate set of requirements and procedures. Please verify with the CSC RO, or secure the requirements from the CSC website).

The security paper CoE and its authenticated copy/ies may be applied for and obtained from any of the 16 CSC ROs nationwide, regardless of the place of examination, also by June 12, 2024. Relatedly, passers are advised to verify first the availability of the service before going to the CSC RO. Check the CSC website for the directory of the CSC ROs.

ABOUT CIVIL SERVICE EXAM

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

To pass the test, an examinee should get a general rating of at least 80.00.

The Sub-professional exam includes numerical, clerical and verbal components. The test also covered General Information items: Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713), peace and human rights issues and concepts and environmental management and protection.

The civil service eligibility resulting from passing the CSE(SubProfessional) shall be called Career Service SubProfessional Eligibility. It is the first level eligibility appropriate only for first level (clerical) positions in the government which do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special/other laws.
