MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Thursday, April 18, the results of April 2024 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. These include the top performing schools and performance of schools.
PRC administered the first Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2024.

The top ten (10) performing schools in the April 2024 Physician Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE
Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the April 2024 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2023 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila topped the schools with 97.62% or 164 out of 168 passed. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) ranked second with 97.32% or 109 out of 112 passed.
In the March 2023 Physician board exams, University of Santo Tomas (UST) was the lone top performing school with 83.61% or 51 out of 61 passed.
In the October 2022 PLE, Angeles University Foundation (AUF) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 51 takers passed. PLM came in second with 97.22% or 105 out of 108 passed.
In the March 2022 PLE, University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila led the schools with 91.23% or 52 out of 57 passed. UST came in second with 85.71% or 120 out of 140 passed.
