MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN's popular and long-running reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) is back for a new season this July 2024.

This was announced and confirmed by Direk Lauren Dyogi, ABS-CBN Head of TV Production, in an Instagram/Tiktok Live on Friday, April 5.

"Gusto po namin ipaalam na magbubukas na muli ang Bahay ni Kuya (PBB House) this coming June. At sa loob ng 100 araw, magkakaroon tayo ng bagong batch of housemates," Dyogi revealed.
Update: The season's premiere date was later set to July 20.

Update: On April 16, PBB revealed the season's title via a social media post.
The newest season of the hit reality series will be called "Pinoy Big Brother Gen11."
Audition schedule and venue for PBB Gen11
PBB will scout and search for new housemates in four on-ground audition venues and dates in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The first leg of auditions will will take place on April 27 at Robinsons Novaliches and on April 28 at Robinsons Las Piñas.

Additionally, aspiring housemates from General Santos City in South Cotabato can audition at KCC Mall of Gensan on May 4 and 5, 2024.

Dyogi said they will also open online and virtual audition.
Age requirement for aspiring housemates
Dyogi said age requirement for the aspiring housemate is 16-32 years old.
PBB Hosts
Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, and Enchong Dee, collectively known as Pamilya ni Kuya will reprise their roles as the main hosts of the season.
On June 20, 2024, former Kumunity 10 celebrity housemate Alexa Ilacad was named one of the presenters for the season and its digital companion shows.
Previous PBB Updates
The Kapamilya Network initially announced the return of PBB during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special in December last year.
The last season of the reality show was the Kumunity Season 10 which aired from October 2021 to May 2022. The said season was divided into three categories: celebrities, adults, and teens.
Anji Salvacion emerged as the 'Big Winner' while Isabel Laohoo became the runner-up. Samantha Bernardo, Rob Blackburn, and Brenda Mage were part of the top 5.
Meanwhile, in May last year, Dyogi shared that half of the PBB house was going to be demolished for practical reasons.
"After 2 seasons of [Pinoy Dream Academy], it became our House B which had our offices, brainstorm space, pantry, hosts’ dressing rooms, mini studio with control room and living quarters specially during the last two 'lock-in seasons.' This part of the house has lots of good memories and even scary experiences," the Kapamilya executive relayed.
He further explained: "We needed to give up this part of the PBB house as our lease has expired this year and it is impractical to renew it. We still have the main PBB house and control room which hopefully we still get to use for the next PBB edition. This original house was built in 2004 and is 18 years old. It has become iconic and a landmark in the area."
