Do you believe that when you've failed several times in something, it might be God's way of 'redirecting' your path?
That seems to be the experience of Nestor Panlileo when he didn't pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination on his second attempt. Instead of feeling defeated and giving up on life, he thought of just taking the Civil Service exam instead.

He didn't make a mistake in his decision, because on his first attempt, he passed the August 2022 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test Professional Level with a rating of 83.12%.
He shared on October 11, 2022, in the Facebook group "Civil Service Exam Reviewer 2023" his journey in taking the board exams. He took up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Lyceum-Northwestern University.
Nestor recounted that after failing the CPA board exam twice, he opted to work and pursue a Masters in Business Administration instead. At first, he was reluctant to take the Civil Service exam, but his desire to redeem himself prevailed.
His passing the CSE and completing his master’s studies also opened up more opportunities for him now.
His advice to those like him who didn't achieve their dreams immediately is to pray, have faith, and accompany it with trust in God and taking action as well as individuals.
On his Facebook post on March 1, 2022, he quoted international singer Celine Dion to inspire others, when he graduated from his master’s degree in his alma mater.
“Don't hold on to your dreams, hold on to yourself, you can have many dreams, but if your dream doesn't come true, what does that mean? Is it gonna be the end of something? No, it's gonna be the beginning of something else. so HOLD ON TO YOURSELF,” he quoted.
“Thank you, God, for redirecting me to this path.”
“Thank you to all the people who have been with me throughout this journey!” he said.
Congratulations, Nestor!
