MANILA, Philippines – The February 2024 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) results, which include the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, are released online on March 6, 2024 or in 22 working days from the last day of exams.
As announced, 15,684 out of 32,495 (48.27%) passed the exams.
PRC added that the results of examination with respect to three (3) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the first CLE this year on February 2, 3 and 4 (Friday to Sunday) in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Calbayog, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Rosales and Bayambang (Pangasinan).
The Board of Criminology is composed of Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, Members.

The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Criminology board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The February 2024 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects:
criminal law, jurisprudence and procedure and law enforcement administration (Day 1)
crime detection and investigation and forensic science (Day 2)
correctional administration and criminology (Day 3).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023 on 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for the Year 2024', the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 or in 22 working days after the exam.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results from February 23, 2024 (Friday) or in 14 working days.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the August 2023 Criminologist Licensure Examination, PRC announced results in fourteen (14) working days from the last day of examination. A total of 5,743 out of 17,576 passed the exams. Jericson Balaba Jalagat from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College - Marbel aced the board with 90.15%. King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 88.89% or 56 out of 63 passed the exams.
In the April 2023 Criminologist board exams, PRC released results in sixteen (16) working days. A total of 4,139 out of 13,000 passed the exams. Kenneth Olbita dela Torre from Naga College Foundation led the passers with 89.00%. Cagayan de Oro College was the top performing school with 87.06% or 74 out of 85 passed.
In the December 2022 Crim board exam, PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days from the last day of examination. A total of 11,098 out of 33,489 passed the exams. Narcilisa Ponase Talipnao from University of Baguio led the passers with 91.60%. Tarlac State University topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 87 of its takers passed.
In the June 2022 CLE, PRC announced results after twenty-nine (29) working days from the last day of examination. A total of 12,698 out of 41,913 passed the exams. Lyen Carel Togonon Garcia from University of Mindanao-Davao City aced the board with 90.70%. University of the Cordilleras was the top performing school with 94.37% passing rate or 134 out of 142 takers passed.
In the December 2021 CLE, PRC released results in thirty-one (31) working days. The agency named 11,610 out of 33,983 who passed the series of exams. Brenyl Doning Abilla from University of Mindanao topped the board with 90.75%. King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 98.97% passing rate or 96 out of 97 passed.
