The viral Facebook post of an employer named "Daisy Borja" stirred discussions and garnered reactions and comments after she shared her encounter with an applicant whom she didn't like because of the question regarding salary.
According to the now-deleted Facebook post by Borja, an applicant sent her a message to apply for a job. The applicant allegedly asked about the requirements, and Borja mentioned basic ones such as a resume, NBI clearance, and police clearance. Following this, the applicant reportedly asked about the salary. Borja's reasoning was that the applicant asked about the salary even before submitting any documents, which she found inappropriate.
Borja's post sparked a conversation regarding basic norms and principles in job application etiquette.
