MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on Thursday, December 7 the results, including top performing schools in the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam for Elementary level.
PRC conducted the second regular LET board exam this year on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in at least 40 testing centers nationwide and in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.
SEPTEMBER 2023 LET RESULTS SUMMARY
ELEMENTARY LEVEL: The top performing schools in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE
Here's the performance of schools in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Tagbilaran City and University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the Elementary Level with 100% passing rate, all 52 takers for both schools passed.
In the October 2022 LET, Philippine Normal University (PNU)-Manila led the schools for Elementary Level with 95.12% or 78 out of 82 passed. Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Mulanay ranked second with 93.67% or 74 out of 79 passed.
In the March and June 2022 Licensure Exams for Teachers (Batch 3 and 4 for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), none of the schools qualified for the top performing school list for Elementary Level.
During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), Mindanao State University (MSU)-Marawi City topped the schools for Elementary Level with 90.53% or 86 out of 95 passed. Bulacan State University (BatSU) - Sarmiento Campus followed with 81.94% or 59 out of 72 passed.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), Cebu Technological University - Main was the lone top performing school with 88.64% or 78 out of 88 passed.
In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) - Tagum was the rank 1 top performing school, garnering 96.07% or 171 out of 178 passed. Bohol Island State University - Tagbilaran followed with 95.05% or 96 out of 101 passed.
