PLE Result October 2023 out on November 10 – PRC

MANILA, Philippines – Aspiring medical doctors will have to wait a bit longer for the release of October 2023 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) results.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) exclusively confirmed with The Summit Express through an inquiry that PLE results will be released on Friday, November 10, 2023 or in seven (7) working days after the last day of exam.

"We would like to inform you that the results of the Physicians Licensure Examination will be released on November 10, 2023. The release of results in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1589 is merely a target date," PRC Licensure Office told The Summit Express.

The request for an update on PLE came after PRC was unable to release results on Monday, November 6 in reference to PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022.

Meanwhile, PRC did not mention the reason for the delay of announcement of PLE results.

November 10 Update: In another inquiry on Friday, PRC told The Summit Express of the expected time of release of PLE results today, November 10. To quote,

"We would like to inform you that the results of the Licensure Examination for Physicians will be released today, November 10, 2023. Kindly anticipate the result around midnight or later in the evening.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this process. We understand the eagerness and significance of the PLE results and we assure you that every precaution is being taken to ensure accuracy and fairness of the results."

PRC conducted the second Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 20, 21, 27 and 28, 2023.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Chairman; Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana and Dr. Joanna V. Remo, Members.
