MANILA, Philippines – Miss Philippines Michelle Dee ends her #MissUniverse2023 journey after failing to enter the Top 10.
Michelle Dee, the Philippines' Miss Universe 2023 candidate, bowed out of the competition after she failed to enter the Top 5 of the competition on Sunday, November 19 (Philippine time).
Dee made it to the Top 10, where semifinalists competed in the evening gown.
Dee, a Filipina actress-model from Makati City, was among 84 candidates who competed for 72nd Miss Universe crown. She was gunning for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe title.
The pageant is still ongoing at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Moving on to the next round of competition are:
The Top 5 will compete in the question and answer competition in which 3 delegates will be chosen to advance to the next round.
The Philippines so far has 4 Miss Universe titlists: Catriona Gray in 2018, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, Margie Moran in 1973, and Gloria Diaz in 1969.
