2023 bar exam results out on December 5 – Supreme Court

MANILA, Philippines – The complete results of the 2023 bar exam, conducted in September 2023, are out online on Tuesday, December 5 after the special en banc session, the Supreme Court announced on Thursday, November 16.

"The undersigned shall release the Results and List of Successful Examinees for the 2023 Bar Examinations (Results) via public announcement in the afternoon of December 5, 2023, Tuesday, at the courtyard of the Supreme Court Main Building, Padre Faura Street, Manila (SC Courtyard)," the Office of the Bar Chairman Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando said.

Simultaneous with the release of the bar Results, the Supreme Court will install LED walls in the SC Courtyard, which shall display the List of Successful Examinees until 6:00 p.m.

The notice added that gates of the Supreme Court Main Building shall be open to the public from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate those who wish to witness and document the Results.

Visitors are required to "come in proper and decent attire, and shall be subject to security inspection during ingress."

Footwear with exposed toes and heels, bottoms that are ripped or cut above the knee and garments that are sleeveless, cropped, or see-through, are prohibited by the SC in their premises.

"Any violation of the dress code shall be sufficient reason to bar the violator's entry into the SC Courtyard," the office said.

Aside from the announcement of bar results at the SC Courtyard, results shall likewise be released on the Supreme Court website and official social media pages on X, Threads, Facebook, and Instagram.

SC said that livestream links and QR Codes of the Results via YouTube and Facebook shall be made available through the Court’s official communication channels on December 4, 2023, a day before the Results.

The SC earlier announced that the oath-taking and roll-signing ceremony for those who passed the 2023 Bar exams will be held on December 22, 2023, Friday, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

"As prerequisite to attendance in the Ceremonies, Successful Bar Examinees (SBEs) must timely comply with clearance procedures and pay the Admission and Certification Fee of Php5,190.00. SBEs are requested to stay tuned for and strictly abide by the Notice on the clearance procedures and mechanics for the Ceremonies, which shall be released in due time," SC said.

The highest Court previously said that 10,387 examinees out of the original 10,791 applicants finished all three days of the exams. This is equivalent to a 96.26-percent turnout.
