The Malayang Alyansa ng Bus Employees at Laborers (MANIBELA) said to push through with its planned transport strike on Monday.

The rally is to voice out their concerns against Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) December 31 deadline for the consolidation of traditional jeepneys as part of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

Pampanga and Angeles City LGUs already issued orders for the cancellation of face-to-face classes next week and encouraged schools to shift to online, modular or any alternative learning modality.
