Region 2 Passers Professional: August 2023 Civil Service Exam results

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission(CSC) named the successful examinees of August 2023 Civil Service Exam - Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) professional level for Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).

CSC said that results will be out online on November 3, 2023 or in seventy-five (75) calendar days after the exam.

CS passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for the first and second level positions in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions (education, experience, and training).

REMINDERS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website.

Passers must personally claim their Certification of Eligibility (CoE). Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers or as indicated in the corresponding advisory of CSC.

Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individuals preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (In English and Filipino):

• Numerical Ability (basic operations, word problems)
• Analytical Ability (word association, identifying assumptions and conclusions, logic, data interpretation)
• Verbal Ability (grammar and correct usage, vocabulary, paragraph organization, reading comprehension)
