MANILA, Philippines – The May 2023 nurse licensure examination (NLE) results or nursing board exam full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Nursing (BoN) on Saturday, June 10, 2023 or in ten (10) working days after the last day of exam.
As announced, 10,764 out of 14,364 passed the exams.

The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld for final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The first regular NLE this year was conducted on May 28 and 29, 2023 in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”

NLE's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.

RELEASE OF NLE RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of nurse board exam results is on Friday, June 9, 2023 or in nine (9) working days.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
UPDATE: PRC announced Friday the extension of date of May 2023 NLE results from June 9 until June 16, 2023.
To quote, "The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the date of release of results of the May 2023 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) is extended from June 9, 2023, until June 16, 2023, but without prejudice to the earlier release of the May 2023 NLE results prior to June 16, 2023, when circumstances warrant."
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the November 2022 Nursing Licensure Exams, results were released online after twelve (12) working days. PRC named 18,529 out of 24,903 who successfully passed the exams. Abigail Garganta Ramirez from Saint Paul University - Dumaguete clinched the highest spot with 90.00%.
In the May 2022 NLE, PRC released results in nine (9) working days. A total of 6,616 out of 9,729 passed the exams. Far Eastern University (FEU)-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation topped the schools with 98.28% or 57 out of 58 passed. Keziah Kyleen Galit Gonzales from Emilio Aguinaldo College - Manila and Nora Jane Bacarisas Staveley from Our Lady of Fatima University - Valenzuela topped the board with identical grade of 90.00%.
In the November 2021 NLE, PRC released results in twelve (12) working days. A total of 6,086 out of 11,828 passed the exams. University of Santo Tomas (UST) was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 58 takers passed. Kiarra Belle Arante Poblador from Silliman University aced the board with 89.40%.
In the July 2021 NLE, PRC announced results after ten (10) working days. A total of 5,008 out of 7,746 passed the exams. Saint Louis University (SLU) was the top 1 performing school with 100% passing rate or all 75 takers passed. Haydee Soriano Bacani from Philippine Women's University - Manila grabbed the highest spot with 89.40%.
In the November 2019 NLE, PRC released results after fourteen (14) working days. A total of 7,627 out of 13,816 successfuly hurdled the exams. UST, SLU and De La Salle Med. & Health Sciences Institute topped the schools with 100% passing rate. Shaina Kei Cruiz Watanabe from Davao Doctors College, Inc. led the passers with 89.60%.
