MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the top performing schools in the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam for Secondary level. Results are released on Friday, May 19 or in forty-two (42) working days after the exam.
PRC conducted the LET on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in at least 37 testing centers nationwide.
It was originally scheduled on March 26, 2023 but was moved on earlier date due to conflict on schedule with the civil service exams.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

SECONDARY LEVEL: The top performing schools in the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE
Here's the performance of schools in the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers, University of the Philippines- Los Baños (UPLB) and University of the Philippines - Visayas - Iloilo City topped the schools with 100% passing rate. UP-Diliman ranked second with 97.04%.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) was the lone top performing school in the Secondary Level.
During the Batch 3 LET (March 2022) Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa was the lone top performing school in the Secondary Level.
During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), Cebu Normal University (Cebu State College) led the schools for Secondary level with 88.73% or 63 out of 71 passed. University of Mindanao-Tagum followed with 88.46% or 69 out of 78 passed.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), West Visayas State University - La Paz topped the schools with 91.55% passing rate or 65 out of 71 passed. Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) came in second with 88.98% or 105 out of 118 passed.
In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), UPLB dominated the exams with 98.00% or 49 out of 50 passed. Ateneo de Davao University ranked second with 93.85% or 61 out of 65 passed.
In the March 2019 LET, University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) earned highest spot, 90.77% or 59 out of 65 passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) followed with 86.67% or 52 out of 50 passed.
