MANILA, Philippines – A total of 72,824 out of 163,168 (44.63%) successfully hurdled the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) conducted in at least 37 test centers nationwide on March 19, 2023, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced Friday, May 19, 2023.
PRC named 24,819 elementary teachers out of 60,896 examinees (40.76%) and 48,005 secondary teachers out of 102,272 examinees (46.94%) who successfully passed the March 2023 LET.
It is further announced that of the 24,819 elementary teacher passers, 19,390 are first timers and 5,429 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 39,890 passers are first timers and 8,115 are repeaters.
The results of examination with respect to six (6) examinees were withheld for further validation of their submitted documents; and twenty-five (25) examinees were withheld for final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The first LET this year was originally scheduled on March 26, 2023 but was moved on earlier date due to conflict on schedule with the civil service exams.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:
Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only);
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag);
- two sets of documentary stamps;
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
