MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors became instant multi-millionaires after winning the jackpot prize of Php 29.7 million in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on Monday, May 22, 2023, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The lucky players, who bought the winning tickets at lotto outlet in Bacoor, Cavite and Iloilo City, Iloilo, guessed the winning combination of 28-32-12-09-18-50 for the exact prize of Php 29,700,000.00.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax.
The lucky bettors must go to PCSO's main office in Madaluyong City and present two IDs to collect his/her prize.
10 bettors settled for Php 100,000 for correctly guessing five numbers, 627 will get Php 1,500 for four numbers, and 14,534 will receive Php 60 each for three correct digits.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on May 6, 2023 by solo bettor who purchased ticket at a lotto outlet in San Pedro, Laguna.
The 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to patronize their games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
It serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
