MANILA, Philippines – Celeste Corstesi, the Philippines' Miss Universe 2022 candidate, bowed out of the competition after she failed to enter the Top 16 of the competition on Sunday, January 15.
Cortesi was not able to make it to the Top 16, where semifinalists will compete in their swimsuits and evening gown.
Cortesi, a Filipino-Italian model, was among 84 candidates who competed for 71st Miss Universe crown. She was gunning for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe title.
The pageant is still ongoing at the New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Moving on to the next round of competition are:
