MANILA, Philippines – The National University (NU) Pep Squad has finally reclaimed the UAAP Cheerdance crown as they delivered a superb performance on Saturday, December 10 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
After failing to complete a three-peat last May, the NU Pep Squad headed by Ghicka Bernabe made sure to entertain fans with their “Cheerobics”-themed routine this season.
The squad now has seven titles in total and one gold away to tie with the winningest teams University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad and University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe.
Meanwhile, the defending champion Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad settled for silver with their Francis Magalona tribute performance.
