LIST: Bank Schedule for Christmas Holidays 2022, New Year

MANILA, Philippines – Major banks in the country announced the banking hours schedule for the 2022 Christmas holidays and operations for New Year (first week of January 2023).

During the long holiday break, select bank branches will be open to serve their clients. Check out the updated list of banks and their schedule for December 2022 to January 2, 2023.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)

Metrobank is adjusting banking hours in branches nationwide this holiday season.

These are the schedules:
  • December 24, 2022, Saturday (Christmas Eve, special working holiday): Some branches are open
  • December 25, 2022, Sunday (Christmas Day, regular holiday): All branches are closed
  • December 26, 2022, Monday (special non-working holiday): All branches are closed
  • December 30, 2022, Friday (Rizal Day, regular holiday): Some branches are open
  • December 31, 2022, Saturday (New Year's Eve, special working holiday): Some branches are open
  • January 1, 2023, Sunday (New Year's Day, regular holiday): All branches are closed
  • January 2, 2023, Monday (special non-working holiday): All branches are closed

Banco de Oro (BDO)

Select branches are still open to serve you on December 24 (up to 3pm only) and December 26 (up to 4pm).

All branches are closed on December 25, 2022 and January 1, 2023.

There will be regular banking hours on December 27 to 29, 2022.

On December 30 (Rizal Day), select branches are open until 4pm. On December 31, select branches are open until 3pm. Select branches are open until 4pm on January 2.

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)

BPI branches with Saturday banking schedules will close at 2:00pm on December 24 and December 31, 2022, to give their branch personnel time to prepare for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Meanwhile, all branches will be closed on December 26, Monday (special non-working holiday), and Friday, December 30, 2022 (Rizal Day).

You may continue using BPI Online, the BPI Mobile app, ATMs, and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs) for your everyday banking needs.

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)

All of RCBC branches will be closed on December 26.

RCBC Digital and ATMs will remain available for your banking needs.

Security Bank

All branches nationwide will be closed on December 26, 2022 (Monday), in observance of the special (non-working) day per Malacañang Proclamation No. 115.

EastWest Bank

In observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as the special holiday on December 26, most EastWest stores will be closed. Please see below for available store schedules on December 24-26:

December 24
  • 168 Mall
  • Baclaran
  • Bicutan - East Service
  • Festival Mall - Level 1
  • Greenhills Shopping Center

December 25 and 26: all stores closed

ATMs, EastWest Online and the EastWest Mobile app are available for your essential banking needs.

Regular banking operations will resume on December 27, Tuesday.

PSBank

All PSBank branches nationwide will be closed on Dec. 26, 2022 (Special Non-Working Holiday), Dec 30, 2022 (Rizal Day), and Jan 2, 2023 (Special Non-Working Holiday).

All PSBank ATMs and PSBank Mobile/Online will continue to be available for your banking needs.

Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
