MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors bagged and will share the jackpot of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw on Friday night, December 30, 2022.
The winners, who bought the tickets at lotto outlets in Davao City, Davao del Sur and Tacloban City, Leyte, hit the winning combination 01-23-15-03-08-05 of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) with a total jackpot prize of Php 521,275,111.60.

The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
This means that Php 104,255,022.32 will be deducted from the prize. Each jackpot winner will receive Php 208,510,044.64.
Meanwhile, 395 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP120,000 each.
The 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. To join, one must select 6 numbers from 1 to 58 or play Lucky Pick for randomly generated numbers. Each bet costs P20.
The Ultra Lotto was last won on Augut 5, 2022 by a lone winner who bought ticket at a lotto outlet in Taytay, Rizal.
In the history of lotto in the country, the jackpot of P1.18-billion for Ultra Lotto, which was won by two lucky bettors in October 2018, was the biggest so far.

The PCSO urged the public to patronize their lotto games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
