MANILA, Philippines – A lone bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the jackpot prize of Php 29.7 million in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on Saturday, November 5, 2022, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The lucky player, who bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Triangulo, Naga City, guessed the winning combination of 40-03-34-37-19-15 for the exact prize of Php 29,700,000.00.

Meanwhile, another bettor also won the Lotto 6/42 on Saturday taking home the Php 15.4 million jackpot prize.

The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax.
The lucky bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Madaluyong City and present two IDs to collect his/her prize.
Twelve bettors settled for Php 100,000 for correctly guessing five numbers, 550 will get Php 1,500 for four numbers, and 11,686 will receive Php 60 each for three correct digits.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on October 22, 2022 by solo bettor who purchased ticket at a lotto outlet in Tacloban City, Leyte.
The 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to patronize their games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
It serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
