MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning Php 38.2 million from the Lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday, October 8, 2022, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The lucky player, who bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Davao City, hit the winning combination 39-42-23-33-32-12 with a total jackpot prize of Php 38,200,752.40.

To claim the check, he/she must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
Last September 15, lucky bettor from Valenzuela City bagged the Php 56.7 million jackpot prize in the Lotto 6/42.
The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to patronize their games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
It serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
