MANILA, Philippines – A housewife from Iloilo province finally had her lucky day when she bagged the jackpot prize on Grand Lotto 6/55 drawn last July 9, 2022.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) made the announcement that the housewife is the sole winner of over P401-million prize. Her winning numbers were 02-18-49-07-19-47.
The lucky winner claimed the cheque for her prize at the PCSO Mandaluyong office on July 25, 2022.
The 34-year-old housewife revealed that she had a "lucky pick" that cost her only P20. But it took her 6 years of betting before her luck struck.
While they were filled with excitement after learning that they won the big prize, they were also filled with fear. It took them 2 weeks before they finally decided to claim their prize because they were worried for their safety.
For our safety na din po," she explained.
The instant multi-millionaire was grateful to the PCSO for transforming their lives for the better. She admitted she had doubts but when she finally received her cheque, she thanked the Lord for the blessing.
With her prize, the housewife plans to open a business in Iloilo, donate to the Church and other charitable institutions, and help those in need.
