MANILA, Philippines – The August 2022 Civil Service Exam results or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) full list of passers and topnotchers (top 10) for professional and sub-professional level are released online on October 5, 2022 or in 59 calendar days after the exam.
The CSE-Professional test was taken by 117,907 or 93.92% of the registered 125,541 examinees. Meanwhile. 20,764 or 93.54% of the 22,199 expected examinees took the Subprofessional level.
UPDATE: Based on statistics, a total of 26,307 out of 138,703 (18.97%) passed the exam. It includes 22,241 who have passed the Professional Level exam while 4,066 hurdled the subprofessional level.

Regional performance would show that Central Luzon grabbed the highest passing rate for the examinations at 37.44 percent. The percentage covers 738 passers out of 1,971 actual number of examinees. Of the said number, 688 passed the Professional test while 50 passed the Subprofessional test. These figures, representing 37.29 percent and 39.68 percent of the number of examinees for each level, are likewise the highest passing rate for the Professional and Subprofessional levels, respectively, from among the regions.
Individual and collective figures would further show Northern Mindanao in the second spot with a passing rate of 27.51 percent, or 1,382 passers out of 5,023 examinees, with 1,169 of the passers coming from the Professional level and 213 from the Subprofessional level.
Based on combined statistics for both Professional and Subprofessional levels, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and Bicol Region likewise fared well with passing rates at 23.79 percent, 21.35 percent, and 21.04 percent, respectively.
CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

The CSE-PPT results are expected to be released in calendar 60 days after the examination or on October 6 through posting of the list of passers in the CSC website.
"The complete list of successful examinees of the 7 August career service Professional and Sub-Professional examinations may be accessed at the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph by 6 October," CSC said.
We advise takers to monitor announcement of results from September 26 (Monday) until October 6 or in 50-60 calendar days.
Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result or rating through OCSERGS or the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System by October 21, 2022. OCSERGS can also be accessed through the CSC website.
Note: The date of OCSERGS availability will be posted here soon but you may expect approximately 15 days after the posting of the List of Passers.

The results of June 2022 civil service exam are expected to be released on or before August 18, 2022. More than 130,000 individuals took the eligibility exams.
In the March 2022 civil service exams, CSC announced results in exactly sixty (60) calendar days after the exam. A total of 12,179 out of 70,833 (17.19%) successfully passed the examinations - 9,651 out of 56,980 (16.94%) for the professional level and 2,528 passers out of 13,853 examinees (18.25%) for the sub-professional level. CSC did not release list of topnotchers.
In the August 2019 civil service exams, results were released after sixty (60) working days. A total of 29,733 examinees passed the CSE-PPT. Said figure represents 11.62% of the total 255,778 examinees for both Professional and Subprofessional levels. Karriza Gem Reopta, from the National Capital Region (NCR), bested 224,777 Professional level examinees with a rating of 88.91, while Sidney Dani Gelito, from Southern Tagalog topped the Subprofessional test with a 90.14 rating out of 31,001 examinees.
In the March 2019 CSE-PPT, results were out after 64 working days. A total of 27,944 out of 264,473 total examinees (10.57%) passed the exams. Donna Rizalyn Leus from Southern Tagalog led the 24,304 Professional eligibles as she garnered a rating of 87.03. Meanwhile, Christiani Matugas from NCR topped the 3,640 Subprofessional eligibles with a rating of 94.37.
In the August 2018 exams, results were announced in fifty-eight (58) days after the exam. A total of 22,087 out of 181,985 examinees (12.14%) passed the exams. The figure do not include examinees from National Capital Region (NCR) and Morong, Rizal where examinations were suspended due to torrential rains brought by the southwest monsoon (Habagat). Salveregina Samuelle Sarnillo from Central Visayas, with a rating of 92.35, bested 159,283 examinees of the Career Service Professional level, while Sophia Isabelle Olalia, with a 90.78 rating and from the Southern Tagalog region, placed first among the 22,702 hopefuls for the Subprofessional level.
For the August 2022 CS exam results, takers may also expect of passing rate around 11% or can be translated to around 16,000 passers for combined levels of exams.
