MANILA, Philippines – A lone bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the jackpot prize of over Php 400 million in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on Saturday, July 9, 2022, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
The lucky player, who bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Iloilo City, Iloilo, guessed the winning combination of 02-18-49-07-19-47 for the exact prize of Php 401,186,804.80.

The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax.
Meanwhile, 71 other bettors guessed five out of the six two-digit winning combinations and won PHP 100,000 each, the PCSO said.
About 5,011 bettors got PHP1,500 each for getting four of the winning combinations while 110,867 bettors won PHP 60 each for guessing three right combinations.
Aside from 6/55, another player bagged the Php 5.9 million Lotto 6/42 jackpot on Saturday.
The lucky bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Madaluyong City and present two IDs to collect his/her prize.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on March 14, 2022 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to patronize their games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
It serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
