MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the opening of application period for August 7, 2022 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Sub-Professional Levels.
Applications will be accepted from June 2 to 16, 2022.
CSC urges interested individuals to 𝗶𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗦𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 where they intend to take the examination 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.

The CSC NCR advises the examinees of the cancelled March 15, 2020 Career Service Exam-Pen & Paper Test (CSE-PPT) who have not yet applied for and/or claimed their exam fee refund on their options, as follows:
𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏 - 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐂𝐒𝐄-𝐏𝐏𝐓 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞; 𝐨𝐫
𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐 - 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝.
Unrefunded examinees who would choose either Option 1 or Option 2 are advised to register first. The link for their registration will be sent via text message through the cellphone number indicated in the application forms of their March 15, 2020 CSE-PPT.
2. For those choosing Option 1, you are required to submit a new set of application, including the latest ID picture and other requirements, with the CSC Field Office nearest you or at the Examination Services Division, CSC NCR. In case an examinee chooses Option 1 and registers for the August 7, 2022 CSE-PPT but would fail to attend or take the said exam, his/her exam fee shall be forfeited. Any request for postponement or rescheduling shall not be allowed.
3. In case an examinee selects Option 2, or would not request for a refund or would fail to register for the August 7, 2022 CSE-PPT, he/she has until March 14, 2025 within which to request for a refund with CSC NCR. They shall be advised on the date of the resumption of the refund of exam fees.
4. The examinees who decided to take the CSE-PPT on June 19, 2022 are reminded of the three-month prohibition on taking the CSE, such that the examinees must have not taken the same level of Career Service Examination within that period, regardless of mode.
5. In view of the huge number of unrefunded examinees in the cancelled March 15, 2020 CSE-PPT, the conduct of the August 7, 2022 CSE-PPT in NCR shall only be limited to them. No new application, including agencies requests, shall be entertained for the said exam schedule.
