Thailand's women’s volleyball team has won every gold medal in the last 12 SEA Games. Meanwhile, the Philippines last won a gold in women’s volleyball back in 1993.
Bannered by Jaja Santiago and Alyssa Valdez, the Philippines hopes to continue the momentum against the Thais after defeating Malaysia in straight sets on Friday. The team had an impressive performance of 25-14, 25-20, 25-15.
