The Philippines, with 1-1 record, won against Malaysia in straight sets on Friday, May 13.
Before coming to Vietnam, the Philippine team was trained for two weeks in Brazil.
Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia compete in a round-robin format to find four squads to compete in the semi-finals and the final.
Game time is set at 12 pm, Manila time.

Meanwhile, the men's volleyball team failed to duplicate their 2019 silver medal finish after they lost to Thailand in straight sets on Monday. They also bowed out to Cambodia in the preliminary game on Saturday. They dropped to the classification phase for the fifth to seventh place.
