PLE RESULT: March 2022 Physician board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – The March 2022 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are released online on Friday, March 18 or in four (4) working days after the exam.

As announced, 1,427 out of 2,837 (50.30%) passed the exams.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the first Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on March 6, 7, 13 and 14.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Chairman; Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo, Dr. Raquel S. Sayo and Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

On April 11 - 13, April 18 – 22, April 25 - 29 and May 4 – 6, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Due to pandemic, oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be done virtual or online. The online oathtaking application system (e-oath) can be accessed at Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Physician board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The PLE or medicine board exam covered the following subjects:

March 6: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology and parasitology

March 7: physiology, legal medicine, ethics and medical jurisprudence and pathology

March 13: pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine

March 14: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition and preventive medicine and public health

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021, the March 2022 Physician board exam results are target for release on Friday, March 18.

NOTE: Results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcements from PRC starting Thursday.

PREVIOUS EXAMS

In the October-November 2021 Physician Licensure Examination, PRC announced results in seven (7) working days. The agency named 1,677 out of 2,302 who passed the exams. Ian Gabriel Alparaque Juyad from University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila aced the board with 87.50%.

In the September 2021 Physician board exams, PRC announced results in five (5) working days. A total of 1,084 out of 1,546 passed the exams. Maria Inez Sellado Benedicto from West Visayas State University - La Paz and Jude Philip Pozon Cebrecus from Cebu Institute of Medicine tied on highest spot with 87.83%.

In the March 2021 board exams, PRC released results after three (3) working days. A total of 1,234 out of 1,927 passed the grueling exams. Jeremiah Dimapeles Lim from Far Eastern University (FEU)- Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation topped the board with 89.67%.

In the November 2020 Physician board exams, PRC announced results after seven (7) working days. A total of 3,538 out of 4,704 passed the series of tests. Jomel Garcia Lapides from University of the Philippines - Manila aced the board with 88.67%.

I’ve witnessed how dedicated and disciplined you were that you had to cut me off and I respected and understood that. It was nice knowing you. Please take good care of yourself.
