MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the January 2022 Medical Technologist (MedTech) board exam.
PRC conducted the Medtech board exam on January 15 and 16 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
It was for the approved examinees of the August 2021 Medical Technologists licensure exam only, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the March 2021 medical technologist board exams, Saint Louis University (SLU) was named top performing school with 98.01% or 246 out of 251 passed. Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) ranked second with 96.55% or 56 out of 58 passed.
In the January 2021 medtech board exams, SLU and Velez College topped the schools with 100% passing rate, 139 and 97 takers passed, respectively. Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus (TUG) followed with 97.62% or 123 out of 126 passed.
In the last Medtech board exam before the pandemic, September 2019, Cebu Doctors University led the schools with 100 takers and 100% passing rate. It was followed by Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) - Batangas with 93 out of 94 or 98.94% passing rate.
