One bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the nearly Php 50 million from the 6/58 lotto draw on Sunday, January 30, 2022.
The lone winner, who bought the ticket at a lotto outlet in Makati City, Metro Manila, hit the winning combination 22-02-14-30-10-35 of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) with a total jackpot prize of Php 49,500,000.00.

The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
The 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. To join, one must select 6 numbers from 1 to 58 or play Lucky Pick for randomly generated numbers. Each bet costs P20.
The Ultra Lotto was last won on January 14, 2022 by a lone winner who bought ticket at a lotto outlet in San Fernando City, La Union.
