MANILA, Philippines – A lone bettor bagged the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lottery jackpot prize, winning over Php 142 million in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on Sunday night, January 16, 2022.
The lucky bettor, who bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Abuyog, Leyte, guessed the winning combination of 02-05-04-31-01-46 for the jackpot prize of Php 142,679,606.40.
The bettor can claim his/her cheque at PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two identification cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.

This is the fourth time this month wherein a sole bettor bagged the jackpot prize.
The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
On Saturday, Albay bettor won the Php 65,991,571 jackpot prize in the Grand Lotto 6/55.
On Friday, two bettors bagged the jackpot prizes in two separate draws. A bettor from San Fernando City, La Union bagged the Ultra Lotto 6/58 prize of PHP70,258,716 while another from Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija guessed the winning combination in the Mega Lotto 6/45 for a total prize of PHP20,212,102.
On January 6, four bettors became instant millionaires after sharing the nearly PHP43-million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42 – two from Makati City, Metro Manila; one from Guagua, Pampanga; and one from Maragondon, Cavite.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
