MANILA, Philippines – Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Brenda Mage has apologized for his actions while inside the house.
Following his return to the 'outside world', Brenda faced a barrage of criticisms mostly from fans of his fellow housemates Alexa Ilacad, Eian Rances, and Chie Filomeno.
While inside the PBB house, Brenda was seen making harsh words and comments against other housemates behind their backs. Among the notable criticisms the comedian said was about Alexa describing her as "walang ambag, ganda lang."
Brenda also said that the closeness of Alexa and Eian is not genuine and that the two are only acting to gain supporters. He described their actions as "nakakasuka."
Now outside, Brenda has come face to face with the opinions and comments against him. He took to his Facebook account to apologize for his action, saying he is only being true to himself. He also denied being a "marites" or a rumormonger.
He wrote, "Lahat ng salita at aksyon ko ay sumasalamin sa aking pagmumukha at pagkatao.. Kaya kung may nasaktan man ako sa mga nagawa ko i am Sorry… eto talaga ako eh… I am not MARITES but this is BRENDA MAGE … Lablablab Godbless!”
Brenda posted another message of apology, this time explaining that he is only human capable of making mistakes.
"Pasensya na po talaga sa lahat ng nangyari…. Tao lang po (mukha lang hindi) nagkakamali…. Salamat po,” he added.
Earlier, Alexa admitted that she felt hurt upon knowing the remarks made by Brenda against her. She said, "I’m not gonna lie and be hypocrite. And I will say na masakit. Ang sakit talaga. Wala akong ka-ide-idea na para na pala akong pulutan sa Bahay ni Kuya."
The actress said she would rather be the "bigger person" and be professional and civil if ever their paths cross. She added, “Respeto pa din ang dapat manaig at kung siya wala siya nun, para sa akin that’s not my problem.”
Brenda was among the last three evictees of the Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Celebrity edition, along with Samantha Bernardo and Madam Inutz. The final two housemates were Alyssa Valdez and Anji Salvacion.
