MANILA, Philippines – The December 2021 Geologist board exam results, which include the complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Geology on December 29 (last day of exams).
As announced, 79 out of 142 (55.63%) passed the exams.

The Geologist licensure exam (GLE) was chosen as pilot of PRC's in-house Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE) System, considering the manageable number of examinees.

The Geologist board exam was administered in Manila on December 27, 28 and 29, 2021.
"Upon checking the remaining licensure examinations this year, the Geologists Licensure Examination (GLE) was identified as suitable for the CBLE initial implementation considering the manageable number of examinees of one hundred forty-six (146) to be conducted in two (2) examination venues in PRC Morayta and PRC Philippine International Convention Center," PRC said in October.

From February 10-11, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC said.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the Geologist exam WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Due to pandemic, oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be done virtual or online. The online oathtaking application system (e-oath) can be accessed at Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

Geologist board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The Geology examination covered the folllowing subjects: general geology, petrology and mineralogy and applied geology.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Due to computerized nature of the board exam, it is expected that results are possible to be released within the last of exams (December 29).
