MANILA, Philippines – The October 2021 Chemical Technician board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are released online on November 5 or in four (4) working days after the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Chemical Technician licensure exam on October 29, 2021 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Koronadal, Pampanga, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
The members of the Board of Chemistry who gave the licensure examination are Ms. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman; Ms. Soledad S. Castañeda and Ms. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Members.

Note: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Chemist but had obtained a rating of at least 70% in any two (2) subjects can register as Chemical Technician.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
From December 6 to December 16, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
The Chemical Technician board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The one-day examination for Chemical Technician covered the following subjects: analytical chemistry (50%) and organic chemistry (50%).

In the October 2019 Chemical Technician board exam, PRC released results in two (2) working days after the last day of examination. The agency named 2,298 out of 2,834 who passed the exams.
In the October 2018 Chemical Technician board exam, PRC also announced results in 2 working days. A total of 1,673 out of 1,916 hurdled the exam.
