In an effort to make the opposition stronger, netizens are asking Moreno to step down and become Robredo's tandem for the Vice President position instead. Many supporters also reminded Moreno that he still has a long way to go in his political journey while this is supposed to be Robredo's time.
As of the moment, Robredo has yet to announce his vice-presidential candidate. Reports stated that Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan would be Robredo's running mate, but he has yet to personally confirm this or file his Certificate of Candidacy (COC). Other netizens also point at Kris Aquino as Robredo's possible tandem as an iconic move against presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos.
Meanwhile, Moreno's campaign media team director Julius Leonen has issued a "no comment for now" statement on the #WithdrawIsko trend as of the moment.
Earlier, Moreno said he wants to be a "healing" president, someone who could work with both the administration and the opposition members. Robredo also remarked how she is determined to fight to give the Filipinos freedom from the current situation we are in.
