MANILA, Philippines – The full list of topnotchers or top 10 passers in the August 2021 Mining Engineering board exam is available on this page as officially released on Monday, August 16 or three (3) working days after the exam.
Andy Llanita Macasaet from CARAGA State University - Butuan City aced the board with 88.25%. Hobbie Alonzo Capuyan from Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) - University ranked second with 88.10%.

PRC and the Board of Mining Engineering conducted the licensure exam (MELE) on August 9, 10, and 11, 2021 in Baguio, Cebu, Legazpi, and Koronadal.
Examination was originally scheduled on July 12, 13, and 14, 2021 but was postponed pursuant to Resolution No. 1378 (s. 2021). Few days before the exam in August, PRC announced the cancellation of MELE in the National Capital Region (NCR) pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 130-A (s. 2021).

In the August 2018 MELE, Santiago Buemia Agripa Jr. from Bicol University - Legazpi aced the board with 92.90%. Sheen Michael King Akut Tidadul from CIT - University ranked second with 91.05%.
