MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the top performing schools in the August 2021 Social Worker licensure exam (SWLE). The results are released online on September 2 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the licensure exam in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on August 24, 25, & 26, 2021.
SWLE in Manila was cancelled due to the imposition of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ). This is pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 134 dated August 19, 2021.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2021 Social Workers board exams, Mindanao State University (MSU) - Marawi City topped the schools with 94.59% or 35 out of 37 passed. It was followed by Lourdes College with 83.33% or 10 out of 12 passed.
In the August 2019 exams, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman led the schools with 100% passing rate or all 20 takers passed. Leyte Normal University (LNU) followed with 97.96% or 48 out of 49 passed.
In the July 2018 exams, Bicol University - Tabaco topped the schools with 91.07% or 51 out of 56 examinees passed the series of tests. Bicol University (BU) - Daraga ranked second with 90.60% or 106 out of 117 successfully hurdled the exams.
