MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Sunday the cancellation of August 2021 Social Worker Licensure Examination (SWLE) and Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The decision is pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 134 dated August 19, 2021, placing the National Capital Regions (NCR) under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.
PRC also released Resolutions No. 1407 (Social Workers) and 1408 (Architects) dated August 21, 2021.
However, the August 24, 25, & 26, 2021 SWLE in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga shall proceed as scheduled.
Likewise, the August 27 & 29, 2021 LEA in Baguio, Cebu, Koronadal, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga shall proceed as scheduled.
"Affected examinees in NCR may take the next succeeding licensure examination without forfeiture of their examination fees," PRC said.

The PRC requests the public's utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by IATF-MEID as COVID-19 concerns continue to rise.
