MANILA, Philippines – Pageant devotees can’t help but notice Olivia Culpo’s apparent lackluster hosting during the 69th Miss Universe coronation night which she co-hosted with Emmy-winner Mario Lopez. Culpo’s seemingly tired mood particularly during the announcement of the top 21 candidates quickly became a hot topic on social media and has generated fun memes.

Culpo, who was named Miss Universe 2012, was mocked by netizens for her lack of energy and was quickly compared against former host Steve Harvey’s lively hosting. Harvey was the pageant host when Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray were crowned.

A photo of Culpo in a red gown putting on a straight face became one of the most tweeted memes of the day.

"I love her lack of energy, go girl, give us nothing!” a Twitter user said.



Several Filipino pageant fans hilariously pointed out that Culpo can be readily replaced by Miss Universe 2012 First Runner-up Janine Tugonon, who was present in the audience.




Even TV personality and comedian Vice Ganda can’t help but comment about Culpo’s vibes on Twitter.



Finally when Culpo was handed the winner card, her reaction was simply priceless.
