MANILA, Philippines – One bettor became an instant multi-millionaire after winning over P16 million from the 6/42 lotto draw on Thursday, May 27.
The lone winner hit the winning combination 05-39-31-11-21-25 of the Lotto 6/42 of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) with a total jackpot prize of Php 16,766,666.80.

To claim the check, he/she must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
On Wednesday, one lucky bettor from Davao City bagged over Php 181 million jackpot in the Mega Lotto.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
