MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Saturday, April 3, the postponement of the April 2021 Licensure Examinations for Radiologic Technologists (Radtech) and X-ray Technologists.
PRC cited the prevailing health risks and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines including the surge of new COVID-19 variant cases.
Moreover, the agency also considers the health and safety of all examinees and examination personnel.
The Radtech and X-ray tech board exams will be rescheduled to May 16 and 17, 2021 respectively, based on the recommendation of various and relevant stakeholders.
Cancelled board exams
Almost all board exams scheduled for April have been postponed, including midwives, electronics engineer (ECE), electronics technician (ECT), real-estate brokers, electrical engineers and master electricians (REE and RME).
Only the Pharmacy licensure exams for modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas and the optometrist practical exams will push through.

Meanwhile, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) earlier approved the request of the PRC to to conduct board exams in May and June 2021.
