MANILA, Philippines –
A traffic altercation was caught on video by a motorist and now viral online.
The video posted by Ian Nunez on Facebook enraged netizens. According to Nunez, he has been stuck in traffic when a man on Ford Ranger insists on cutting in line.
Much to his surprise, the driver of the Ranger pulled down his window and yelled at him to let him in the queue. The driver threatened to shoot him, saying, "Babarilin kita." When Nunez asked, "Sino ka ba?" the other driver replied, "Pulis ako."
Nunez conceded and said, "Sige, 'di mo agad sinabi boss. Sige."
He put the caption, "Ford Ranger [plate number].
The video has gone viral with more than 24,000 shares and flooded with heated comments from netizens.
Another wrote, "Pulis man siya or hindi, nakakahiya sa mga mababait nating pulis. Nadamay pa sila, hindi dapat pinalalagpas ito. Abangan!"
An angry netizen also wrote, "So ibig sabhin pag pulis matakot na at dapat hari na ng daan. Tawag diyan lisensyadong criminal."
Amid the outrage, Nunez wrote another post explaining why he needed to share the video. According to him, he had already been passed around by the authorities when he tried to report the incident.
I don't care e e eee #pulisAko," he added.
