MANILA, Philippines – A senior citizen driver becomes an instant millionaire after he bagged the jackpot prize in the SuperLotto 6/49.
An elderly from Cainta, Rizal has just struck gold when he won the jackpot prize of P15,840,000 in the SuperLotto 6/49 draw last February 23, 2021. According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the anonymous winner recently claimed his prize after presenting his ticket with the winning combination of 49-11-09-17-27-14.
The senior citizen winner was accompanied by his child when he claimed the prize at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
According to the lucky winner, he had been placing bets in lotto for over 12 years. He admitted he had been consistent in betting on the numbers, which was a combination of his children's birthdays. With his whopping prize, the senior citizen looks forward to buying a house and lot after spending all their lives renting.
Meanwhile, the PCSO reminded that all prizes have a 20 percent tax following the TRAIN Law.
Last Thursday, there were no winners for the Super Lotto 6/49 with the winning combination of 03-12-34-39-19-36 and a prize of P15,840,000. Even the Lotto 6/42 with the prize of P56.483 million was also left with no winners.
