Hashtag #changeoil became a trending topic after an engaged woman alleged her fiancé of cheating on her with a close friend in a viral Facebook post. In her defense, the close friend denied having a relationship with the engaged man but admitted to accompanying him during a change oil appointment for his car. The story quickly spread like wildfire on social media prompting netizens to create hilarious memes about the topic.
A certain car company’s marketing team didn’t let the opportunity pass and quickly offered a free change oil promo to its customers through a social media post on its Facebook page. As expected, netizens were quick to comment on the post and share it with their followers.
As of writing, the post has gained 87,000 reactions, 5,000 comments and 44,000 shares. Needless to say, the creative social media post helped create a buzz about their promo.
Moreover, the car company wittingly added that they can issue a Certificate of #ChangeOil to customers who will avail of the promo.

Over the past few days, the controversial Facebook post dubbed as “#changeoilserye” became a hot topic across several social media platforms. While many slammed the engaged man and the woman in question for their reported affair, a number of male netizens jokingly claimed that they had been barred from changing the engine oil of their vehicles because of the issue.
