MANILA, Philippines – Sharon Dacera admitted that three production companies already made an offer to make a biopic of her daughter Christine.
Sharon, however, revealed that their family decided to reject all offers as they want to focus all their time and attention on the pending case.
“Three production companies offered to make a biopic about Christine, but I did not say yes because the case of my daughter is still ongoing,” she said in an interview with Manila Bulletin.
“For now, we just want to focus on my daughter’s case,” she added.
The grieving mother also refused to name the three production companies interested to make a film out of Christine's life. “Baka kasi ma-technical kami kasi ongoing pa ang kaso," Sharon stated.
An earlier report revealed Sharon met up with line producer Dennis Evangelista. When asked if a talk was made to discuss the possibility of Christine's biopic, Dennis answered, "Wala pa. Wala pa talaga."
Despite the speculations, names of possible actresses who will portray the life of the late flight attendant have been raised. According to the report, it seems like Sharon is more interested in Kapuso stars. Bianca Umali was allegedly Sharon's favorite pick.
Christine passed away after a night of partying with friends on New Year's Eve. She was found dead inside a hotel bathtub. Despite the medical reports showing she died of natural causes, her mother has been keen on proving that there was foul play involved. In her attempt to find justice for her daughter, Sharon admitted consulting with a psychic to reach out to her daughter.
