MANILA, Philippines –
A lone bettor won the jackpot prize of Php 246 million on Chinese New Year's lotto draw.
On February 12, PCSO said the winner, who bought ticket in Banga, Aklan, bagged the Php 246,085,102.00 jackpot prize of the Lotto 6/58 draw. The lucky bettor guessed the winning combination 24-09-32-41-29-22.

The bettor is advised to present the winning ticket and two valid identification cards to claim her/his check at the PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed, it would be less 20 percent.
The Ultra Lotto 6/58 was last won on September 6, 2020 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Quezon City.
The 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
