MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the postponement of several board exam this year due to the unpredictable circumstances and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines.
PRC cited the decision is "to ensure the health and safety of all examinees and examination personnel" and with consultation with relevant stakeholders.

On October 30, PRC announced the rescheduling of Geologist licensure exam (GLE) from November 16, 17, and 18, 2021 to December 27, 28, and 29, 2021 for the target pilot implementation of the agency's in-house Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE) System.
On October, PRC announced the rescheduling of Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) in the National Capital Region (NCR) due to COVID-19 restrictions.
On September 19, PRC announced that September 26, 2021 LET in NCR, Butuan, Lucena City, Quezon and Romblon, Romblon have been POSTPONED and will be RESCHEDULED to an appropriate date.
On September 9, PRC informed the cancellation of September 2021 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE) and Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (QAFMP) in Manila.
On August 22, PRC cancelled August 2021 Architect and Social Worker board exams in NCR.
On August 10, PRC announced the cancellation of August 2021 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE).

On March 7, PRC announced the new schedule for the conduct of licensure examinations for dentists, dental hygienists and dental technologists (written and practical exams) according to PRC Resolution No. 1326 s. 2021.

PRC Commissioner Yolanda Reyes said they sought guidance from the IATF especially for LET with more than 170,000 examinees expected to take in March 2021. PRC proposed to divide takers into three batches due to social distancing and other health protocols.
