MANILA, Philippines – Kapamilya host and ex-Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Robi Domingo wasn't able to hide his disappointment over a PBB Connect housemate who admitted that he supported the shutdown of ABS-CBN.

Housemate Russu Laurente admitted on the show that he earlier tweeted #YESTOABSCBNSHUTDOWN. The housemate who was dubbed as the "Bunsong Boksingero of General Santos City'' explained that his opinion was influenced on what he saw on social media. He said that as a person from Mindanao, it was normal for him to express his support to President Rodrigo Duterte.
"Nag-yes ako sa ABS-CBN shutdown kasi alam mo naman sa social media is grabe makapag-influence. And lahat ng friends ko sa social media is from Mindanao at alam mo naman kapag nasa Mindanao, suportahan talaga nila yung.. alam mo na. Yung nagpasara ng ABS. And yun na influence ako, yung side lang nila ang nalaman ko," Russu admitted on the show.

"Nag-yes ako sa ABS-CBN shutdown kasi alam mo naman sa social media is grabe makapag-influence. And lahat ng friends ko sa social media is from Mindanao at alam mo naman kapag nasa Mindanao, suportahan talaga nila yung.. alam mo na. Yung nagpasara ng ABS. And yun na influence ako, yung side lang nila ang nalaman ko," Russu admitted on the show.

Prior to Russu's public admission, netizens already found his tweets with the hashtag #YesToABSCBNShutdown. One of his tweets said that they would rather watch GMA shows instead.
Robi couldn't hold her frustration and aired his personal sentiments on the issue. Speaking with his PBB co-host Bianca Gonzales, he warned that they forgive but they will never forget.
He said, "Walang kinalaman ang PBB dito, this is just me. Pero gusto kong ibalik sa kanya ang sinambit niya dati, doon sa naging issue niya with Aizyl. We can forgive but we will never forget.
Eto yung tinig ng mga nawalan. Pag labas nilang lahat sa bahay ni Kuya, ipapakita ko sa kanila to (points at ABS-CBN logo). This is not just a symbol, this is our mantra This is our life. Hay."
This week, Russu has been nominated for eviction along with two other housemates Aizyl Tandugon and Crismar Menchavez. Netizens who are in support of the Kapamilya network quickly trended the BBE RUSSU on Twitter as they voted to have Russu evicted from the PBB house.

UPDATE: Aside from Russu, Crismar also revealed that he had a thought of supporting the shutdown of the Kapamilya network but he did not post it online. Both of them apologized and received forgiveness of Kuya.
